Connor McDavid Stretches Point Streak to 19 Games
Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid extended his point streak to 19 games with a pair of assists in Monday's 4-1 win over the Chicago Blackhawks. The Oilers captain set up Zach Hyman in the first period and Evan Bouchard in the second, tying the seventh-longest point streak in franchise history. McDavid heated up in December and has been on a special run since. His 19-game point streak includes 13 multi-point games, and he has tallied 19 goals and 25 assists during that stretch. On Monday night, McDavid reached 80 points for the season in his 46th game, becoming the fifth player in NHL history with 10 consecutive 50-assist campaigns.
