Detroit Tigers catcher/first baseman John Hicks will get the start at first base on Wednesday. With Miguel Cabrera still out of the lineup, Hicks will get a chance at home against Tampa Bay Rays left-handed pitcher Blake Snell. Hicks has struggled to make regular contact this season, hitting .179 in 30 plate appearances. Hicks does have two home runs already on the season, but both of those have come against right-handed pitching. Hicks has struck out in 37.5% of his 80 career plate appearances against left-handed pitching, and will likely find it tough against a pitcher of Snell's quality. Hicks is someone I would look to avoid using in DFS on Wednesday.--Ben Rolfe
