Anaheim Ducks goaltender John Gibson returned from a lower-body injury and starred in Friday's 4-1 win over St. Louis with 33 saves. Sam Steel, Max Jones, Derek Grant and Rickard Rakell took care of the offense. Gibson, who missed six games, improved to 7-12-8 for the season. He has posted three shutouts and a 3.02 goals-against average with a .897 save percentage. Gibson is among the best goalies in the league, but he has the misfortune of representing a bad hockey club. The Ducks entered Friday's contest with seven losses in eight games and they have just 10 wins for the season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
