4 years agoThe Carolina Panthers activated kicker Joey Slye and offensive lineman Trent Scott from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Friday and also placed cornerback Rasul Douglas on the COVID-19 list. Slye and Scott were placed on the list earlier this week but have cleared the league's testing protocols and can play in Week 7 against the Saints. Douglas has started the last five games for Carolina and has six passes defensed and 27 total tackles, so it's a blow to their secondary against a Saints team that could be getting All-Pro wideout Michael Thomas (ankle, hamstring) back. Safety Justin Burris (ribs) also went on Injured Reserve this week. Slye has been a top-five fantasy kicker through six weeks, so he'll be back on the fantasy radar for this weekend.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
