Joey Bosa Heads To COVID-19 List
3 years agoThe Los Angeles Chargers placed pass-rusher Joey Bosa on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Monday. Running back Austin Ekeler and center Corey Linsley were also placed on the list, and the Chargers expect more names to be added later in the day. Bosa is reportedly unvaccinated, so if he tested positive for the virus, he'll be forced to quarantine for 10 days and will miss the Week 16 game against the Houston Texans on Sunday. The 26-year-old defensive end is one of the best pass-rushers in the NFL and had five tackles (three solo), a sack and a forced fumble in last Thursday's overtime loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Bosa has six sacks in the last seven games, so he's been an IDP staple in starting lineups as well. Even if Bosa is out this weekend, though, the Chargers defense/special teams will be a must-start against the Texans' soft offense.
