Joe Highsmith An Intriguing Option At The Valspar
Joe Highsmith has had an up and down 2025. The American golfer fell hard a week after winning at the Cognizant. However, Highsmith has shown some resiliency. He netted another Top 20 at The Players Championship of all places. He had three missed cuts and an outside Top 50 to begin the year but Highsmith has warmed up. He fought hard to scratch out a 70 on Sunday. That was not easy to do given the conditions and scoring at Sawgrass. The only real glaring weakness in Highsmith's game is scrambling. He ranks outside the Top 125 there. Other than that, it appears he is slightly above average in most metrics. The problem is when the golfer is hot, he is hot. When he is not, Highsmith is ice cold.
