Jhostynxon Garcia Dominant in First Taste of Triple-A
Jhostynxon Garcia has been very productive during his first taste of Triple-A action. Garcia earned the call to Triple-A earlier this season. Through his first 27 games with Triple-A Worcester, Garcia has posted an impressive .311/.388/.604 slash line with five doubles, eight home runs, and a 29:14 K:BB. On Sunday, Garcia launched two of those home runs and brought in five RBI. Earlier in the campaign, the No. 5-ranked prospect in the system held a .256.355/.393 line with five doubles and three home runs across a 33-game stint with Double-A Portland. Given his rather quick adjustment to the top level of them in the minor leagues, Garcia could earn a late-season promotion to the major leagues. However, given that the Boston outfield is quite crowded, he may have to wait until the 2026 season.
