Buffalo Sabres forward Jeff Skinner put an end to an eight-game goalless drought in Tuesday's home loss to the Nashville Predators, picking up a goal to go along with a plus-one rating and two shots on goal in the contest. After starting the season with 26 goals through his first 40 games, the first-year Sabre has gone fairly cold since, burying just 12 goals throughout his next 40 games. In fact, the shifty winger has found the back of the net twice in his past 23 games, playing a role in his team's freefall down the league standings. Expected to get a big pay day as an unrestricted free agent this summer, Skinner still has not done himself any favors of late. He'll look to build some momentum in his final two games, with his next tilt against the Senators on Thursday.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
