St. Louis Blues defenseman Philip Broberg was one of the main protagonists in Friday's 5-2 victory over the Winnipeg Jets, finishing the contest with a goal and an assist. He opened the scoring with a little over six minutes played in the first period and assisted Nathan Walker on St. Louis' second goal in the second frame. Broberg tied for the game high with four shots on goal while blocking one shot in 18:43 of ice time. Although Broberg averaged close to 0.5 points per game in the regular season, he had not managed to score in the first five games against the Jets. Still, he has been a valuable asset for the Blues, logging a league-best plus-nine rating in the postseason.--Taavi Pailk
