Triston Casas Diagnosed With Ruptured Left Patellar Tendon
Triston Casas (knee) has been diagnosed with a ruptured left patellar tendon. Casas was placed on the 10-day injured list earlier on Saturday but is expected to miss the remainder of the 2025 season. He was removed from Friday's contest and had to be taken off the field on a stretcher. For the time being, fantasy managers should expect Romy Gonzalez to see most of the opportunities at first base with Rafael Devers and Connor Wong also being in the mix. Casas had a slow start to the season, holding a .182/.277/.303 slash line with three doubles and three home runs across 29 games. Casas' injury could also eventually open a path for top prospects Roman Anthony or Marcelo Mayer to join the MLB roster as well.
