3 years agoWith Houston Texans quarterback Tyrod Taylor (hamstring) placed on Injured Reserve and expected to miss three to four weeks, the team promoted quarterback Jeff Driskel to the active roster from the practice squad, according to a source. Rookie Davis Mills will make his first career start on Thursday night against the Carolina Panthers, and the Texans needed another QB on roster. Deshaun Watson is expected to remain inactive all season due to pending lawsuits regarding sexual assault. Driskel has only nine NFL starts with three different teams in three NFL seasons. Houston's entire offense could struggle mightily in Week 3 against a drastically improved Panthers defensive unit.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
