Jazz Chisholm Jr. Targeting An Early June Return
2 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. (toe) is dealing with turf toe and was placed on the injured list on Tuesday. Initial reports said he'll miss about four to six weeks. However, the 25-year-old is optimistic and planning to return for the June 9-11 series against the Chicago White Sox. Hopefully, that's the case, as Chisholm Jr. is one of the more electric players in the game and was batting .229 with seven bombs and 14 stolen bases over 39 games. Garrett Hampson will still get the majority of time in center in his place, but his fantasy value was always limited to his speed, and he only has a pair of steals so far through 29 contests.
