1 year agoIn his Yankee Stadium debut on Tuesday against the visiting Detroit Tigers and right-hander Alex Faedo, New York Yankees rookie outfielder Jasson Dominguez is starting in center field and batting third. Dominguez has been in the three-hole for the Yanks in each of the last three games after debuting in the fifth spot. The 20-year-old they call The Martian has gone 3-for-13 with two home runs, four RBI, two strikeouts and three runs scored in his first three major-league games. He should serve as the team's primary center fielder the rest of the way as the Yankees look to get his feet wet. The future face of the franchise should already be rostered in all fantasy leagues, and he should be expected to open the 2024 season on the big-league roster.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
