11 months agoMinnesota Wild defenseman Jared Spurgeon picked up three assists during a 4-3 loss to the Arizona Coyotes on Tuesday night. Spurgeon has been productive to start the season, albeit inconsistent. He has three goals and 11 assists through 24 games. The 28-year-old put up 37 points in 61 games last season. He plays on the second pairing and second power-play unit. Spurgeon is not an elite scorer on the backend, but a 40-point season is well within reach. Spurgeon is a viable D3 in most fantasy formats.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
