James Robinson Doesn't Practice Wednesday
3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson (heel) was a non-participant at practice on Wednesday after he was injured in the Week 8 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. The good news is that the Jaguars don't think the injury is serious, but Robinson could be questionable for this weekend's game against the Buffalo Bills. The 23-year-old had only four carries for 22 yards and caught one pass for 17 yards last week, but that ended a streak of four straight games with at least one rushing touchdown. Against a stingy Bills defense and with his playing status up in the air, Robinson should be pushed down to the RB3/flex range heading into Week 9. Carlos Hyde and Dare Ogunbowale are the next men up in Jacksonville's backfield if Robinson is unable to play.
