James McCann Activated, Will Start Game Two Of Doubleheader
James McCann (back) from the injured list on Saturday, and he's expected to start the second game of the doubleheader against the Washington Nationals, according to Anthony DiComo of MLB.com. McCann landed on the IL on August 20 after experiencing back spasms. It's been a disappointing first season with the Mets, with him slashing .240/.303/.357 with nine home runs in 99 games, after posting a .808 OPS across the previous two seasons. There isn't much value in McCann for fantasy managers, and he can be left on the bench amid his return.
