James Conner Needs More Running Room In Week 2
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner gained 65 yards on 14 touches in Week 1's debacle of a loss to the Patriots. However, the play-calling and blocking up front didn't exactly put him in a position to succeed. In Week 2 against the Seahawks, Conner returns back home and gets another tough matchup. Seattle held the Bengals to just 34 yards rushing on 14 carries, but Pittsburgh's offensive line is stout and should improve from their first performance. The Steelers are favored -4, so Conner should get his work in. Label him as a low-end RB1 with the expectation that he finds the end zone at least once.
