James Conner Activated From COVID-19 List
4 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner was activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday after the team's leading back missed the last two games after testing positive for the virus in late November. In Conner's absence, Benny Snell Jr. and Anthony McFarland Jr. totaled 89 yards rushing the past two weeks. Conner has 4.4 yards per carry and averages 64.5 rushing yards per game in 2020 and could return to a nice performance, as the Bills Defense has allowed 4.7 yards per rush this season. The 25-year-old is on track to play against Buffalo on Sunday night and should be considered an RB2 for the first round of the fantasy playoffs in most leagues. Snell, who wasn't very helpful to fantasy managers in Conner's absence, will revert to being a backup in this backfield.
