Jake Lamb Released By The Blue Jays
Jake Lamb for assignment this past weekend. He cleared waivers and he has officially been released by the team. He is now a free agent. The 30-year-old spent most of the year with the Chicago White Sox, who designated him for assignment on September 1. He was claimed off waivers by the Blue Jays, but didn't make it to the end of the month with the team. He slashed just .129/.256/.290 over 12 games as a Blue Jay. We'll see if he can find a new home before the end of the year.
