Jake Lamb Has Home Run Overturned Against Cardinals
6 years agoArizona Diamondbacks third baseman Jake Lamb went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Cardinals. The double was originally called a home run, but was changed into a double after the umpires ruled it fan interference. Despite the lost HR, Lamb was able to continue his hot hitting, putting forth another multi-hit game to raise his average to .250 on the season. The slugger has multiple hits in five of his last 10 games, raising his average 30 points to .250. The home runs have come slowly for Lamb, and the lack of power may be a side effect of the shoulder injury that caused him to miss over a month. As he gets his rhythm back, expect Lamb to increase his power output moving forward.
