Jaire Alexander Returns To Practice
3 years agoGreen Bay Packers standout cornerback Jaire Alexander (shoulder) returned to practice on Wednesday, according to head coach Matt LaFleur. It officially opens Alexander's 21-day window for the team to activate him from Injured Reserve. If he looks good in practice this week, the Packers could activate him so that he's active on Sunday night against the division-rival Chicago Bears. It's a big development to an already strong Green Bay secondary, and it wouldn't be good timing for Bears rookie first-round quarterback Justin Fields, who is returning from a two-game absence due to cracked ribs. Green Bay is tied for 14th with 28 sacks on the year, and Fields has taken 31 sacks in 10 games played. The Packers defense is a must-start in Week 14 in fantasy.
