New Jersey Devils forward Jack Hughes didn't finish Wednesday's practice session because of an upper-body injury. He was hurt in Monday's game against Vancouver and also had a maintenance day Tuesday. It's now unclear if he will be able to play Thursday versus Seattle. Hughes has been in incredible form, matching a franchise record with a five-game multi-point streak and going scoreless just three times since the start of December. He has already set new career highs with 35 goals, 32 assists and 67 points. Jesper Boqvist and Alexander Holt are the candidates to step in for Hughes if he's forced to miss his first game of the season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
