J.T. Poston Disappoints At The Sentry
J.T. Poston finished tied for 40th place at last week's The Sentry, losing strokes in nearly every category except around the green and off the tee. He will now focus on preparing for the Sony Open, which will take place at Waialae Country Club this week. Poston has performed well at the Sony Open in the past, finishing 6th in 2024, tied for 21st in 2023, and tied for 42nd in 2022. One notable item is that over the past 12 months, Poston ranks in the 84th percentile for greens in regulation percentage on approach shots from 150-200 yards in the fairway. This is significant because, at last year's Sony Open, over 49% of approach shots were taken from this distance. Given his track record at this event, Poston could be a valuable addition to DFS lineups this week.
