After two strong tournaments to close out 2024 that included a victory in Vegas, J.T. Poston has struggled to get back in the swing of things in the new year with a T40 at The Sentry and a missed cut last week at Waialae. Mostly to blame has been approach play and putting (losing strokes in both strokes gained metrics over the two events), which are staples of his game during the better stretches and a big reason for his solid course history at this event in eight career starts. No, he hasn't notched a win yet, but a couple of top 10s, one top 15, and one top 25 isn't too shabby. At $9,800 on FanDuel, there are certainly players around him showing better form to start the year, but the ownership leverage with Poston should he find something in his practice ahead of Thursday could pay off in a big way.--Todd McGill - RotoBallerRead More News
