J.J. Spaun In Great Form Ahead Of WM Phoenix Open
J.J. Spaun has been sensational to start the year, posting results of T33, T15, T29, and T3 in his first four events. He now shifts his focus to the WM Phoenix Open, an event he has played five times, most recently missing the cut in both 2024 and 2023. Despite these results, this course favors good drivers of the golf ball, and Spaun ranks 33rd in total driving and 43rd in strokes gained off the tee. His biggest strength is ball-striking, ranking 17th in strokes gained on approach, including 43rd in approaches from 150-175 yards, a distance that accounts for 24.2% of all approach shots at TPC Scottsdale. With this being a good course fit for Spaun, his $7,900 price tag on DraftKings makes him a solid consideration for fantasy managers.
