Isaiah Davis Seeing Role Decrease in Jets Offense
New York Jets running back Isaiah Davis recorded just one target during Week 13's win over the Atlanta Falcons. For just the second game this season, Davis did not record a touch, with the last coming in Week 3 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 23-year-old running back has been efficient on his limited touches this season while playing behind star running back Breece Hall, recording 26 carries for 136 yards while adding 15 receptions for 118 yards on 22 targets. He had a career-best day in the Jets' Week 8 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, going over 100 yards from scrimmage for the first time with seven carries for 65 yards and five catches (five targets) for 44 yards. However, he hasn't seen more than four touches in a game since then. Davis remains just a handcuff to Hall at this point in the season and can be left on fantasy managers' benches for Week 14 against the Miami Dolphins.
