Rome Odunze has Fractured Foot, Labeled Week-to-Week
Chicago Bears second-year wide receiver Rome Odunze (foot), who has already been ruled out for the Week 14 divisional tilt against the Green Bay Packers this Sunday, has been playing with a stress fracture in his foot, sources tell Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Odunze needs some rest and is considered week-to-week, but the belief is that he'll be back soon. If the 23-year-old only misses one game, he'll return to a tough matchup next weekend against the Cleveland Browns. Odunze came out guns blazing to begin his sophomore season, scoring five touchdowns in the first four games. However, he's scored just once since and has been in a rut the last three games, with only seven catches on 21 targets for 102 yards while gutting through his foot injury. DJ Moore, rookie Luther Burden III, and Olamide Zaccheaus will all have higher fantasy ceilings in Chicago's passing attack for however long Odunze is sidelined.
