1 year agoThe Cincinnati Reds aren't counting on having right-hander Hunter Greene (hip) or left-hander Nick Lodolo (leg) back from the injured list before August. The Reds placed Greene on the 15-day injured list last week after he missed a turn in the starting rotation earlier in the month because of a right-hip injury. The 23-year-old is expected to have a second opinion on his hip shortly, which could give us a more specific timetable for his return. Greene needs to remain stashed in most fantasy leagues for his strikeout upside, but patience is going to be required. In 14 starts before landing on the injured list, Greene had gone 2-4 with a 3.93 ERA (3.57 FIP), 1.35 WHIP, 31 walks and 100 strikeouts in 73 1/3 innings pitched.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
