Howie Kendrick Drives In Four Runs
6 years agoWashington Nationals infielder Howie Kendrick took advantage of his second consecutive start on Wednesday, going 2-for-3 with a double, sacrifice fly, hit-by-pitch, one run scored, and four driven in to help Washington defeat the Atlanta Braves 14-4. Kendrick doesn't play very often in order to preserve his health, but he's been dangerous when in the lineup, now hitting .328/.367/.595 on the season. He also has nine home runs including one each on Sunday and Tuesday. Kendrick's playing time makes him difficult to roster in standard leagues, but he's a serious DFS option anytime he's in the lineup, as well as a must-have in NL-only and other deep formats.
