Winnipeg Jets forward Patrik Laine netted two goals on Wednesday as the Jets fell to the Flames. Laine has officially left his scoring slump in the past as he now has five goals in his last two games and has scored 10 of his 13 goals in his last eight games. After scoring only three goals in his first 10 games, and only 5 points in total, there was concern that Laine's slow start could be a sign of regression coming to roost after scoring 44 goals last season. He seems to have alleviated the concerns regarding his goal totals, but with only three assists in 20 games there is still some concern to be had. Laine does have eight power-play goals so far this season, which is a significant boon to his value, but unless his assist production increases he will have a difficult time living up to the price he was drafted at.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
