Hassan Haskins 2023 Outlook: Underdog To Win Titans' RB2 Job
2 years agoTennessee Titans running back Hassan Haskins was used sparingly in his rookie season after being selected in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, rushing 25 times for 93 yards and catching 11 passes for 57 yards. It's tough to draw conclusions about him after such a limited workload, but since Tennessee spent a third-round pick on Tulane running back Tyjae Spears, his fantasy relevance could be over before it started. Spears has the coveted day-two draft capital and is much more explosive than Haskins, so it will be an uphill battle for Haskins to beat him out in training camp. Derrick Henry is 29 years old and is certainly at-risk to miss games in 2023, so Haskins' best case will likely be splitting the backfield with Spears in the case of a Henry injury. For now, Haskins is only on the fantasy radar in the deepest of leagues.
