Harry Higgs heads into the Farmers Insurance Open with a little confidence. The American golfer shot an opening round 65 next week but a 73 on Sunday knocked him out of contention. Higgs was making putts and approaching greens early yet those chances evaporated on Sunday. Torrey Pines may feature a few less birdie chances compared to the American Express. However, Higgs showed in 2024 his inability to keep putts per round down (30.33). That is part of the problem. Higgs gets chances but squanders them too often. Early on, Higgs could be a DFS option but tread carefully in the later rounds. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
