Harry Ford Hits Home Run No. 7
Harry Ford went 3-for-6 with a home run during their contest on Wednesday evening against Triple-A Salt Lake. This was Ford's seventh home run of the Triple-A regular season. The backstop has enjoyed an impressive month and has yet to slow down. Over his last 15 contests, Ford has posted an incredible .443/.514/.705 slash line with four doubles, four home runs, 16 RBI, and a stellar 9:9 K:BB. During his first 23 games of the season, Ford held a modest .217/.377/.289 slash line with just one long ball. Last summer, Ford struggled at Double-A as he held a .249/.377/.367. However, it is a great sign to see Ford take a significant step forward in his development, especially when facing tougher competition. If Ford continues to perform well, he should make his MLB debut in the second half of the campaign.
