Harris English Hopeful For Start Of West-Coast Swing
Harris English did not have the best start to 2025. The American golfer missed the cut at the Sony Open behind a second round 72. Early courses like the one at La Quinta require birdies and a lot of them. January has not been kind the past couple of seasons to English. He missed the cut at PGA West in 2023. Last year, English missed the American Express. His biggest problem last year was getting on the greens in regulation and approach to the green. Both categories saw him rank outside the Top 125. Also, last year, English ranked a mere 137th in birdies per round. He might struggle to start at the American Express.
