Haason Reddick Wants To Stay With Eagles
10 months agoPhiladelphia Eagles All-Pro pass-rusher Haason Reddick said he never requested a trade and wants to stay in Philadelphia. "I would like to get an extension done here at home. At no point did I ever tell the organization I want to be traded," Reddick said. He has one year left on his deal with no guaranteed money left. "This is home for me. I was born and raised here. Two of the most fun years playing football in my life came here. I've cherished being an Eagle." The 29-year-old linebacker reportedly requested a trade several days ago as he enters the final year of his current deal. The former first-rounder has had double-digit sacks in each of the last four seasons and has accumulated 27 sacks in his two years in Philadelphia. If he's going to stay in Philly, the Eagles are either going to have to restructure his deal or sign him to an extension.
