Gleyber Torres To Return To Lineup
1 year agoNew York Yankees manager Aaron Boone said that infielder Gleyber Torres (hip) is healthy and will return to the starting lineup on Tuesday against the visiting New York Mets and right-hander Justin Verlander. Torres left the game on Sunday early against the Kansas City Royals with hip tightness, but he'll be back in action after the team's off day on Monday. The 26-year-old should be returned to all fantasy lineups after a strong start to the second half of the season. Torres is currently riding an impressive 13-game hitting streak, going 20-for-53 (.377) with three home runs, a triple, seven RBI, a stolen base and 10 runs scored in that span. In nine games since the All-Star break, he's hitting. 378 (14-for-37).
