Gerald Everett Will Play In Week 11
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks tight end Gerald Everett (groin) returned to a full practice on Friday and was removed from the Week 11 injury report against the Arizona Cardinals. It's a bit of a surprise after he missed practice on both Wednesday and Thursday, but Everett will be out there on Sunday after catching all eight of his targets (season high in catches and targets) for 63 yards in the Week 10 loss to the Green Bay Packers. The 27-year-old has recorded just 22 catches for 198 yards and one touchdown on 25 targets all season, so it's understandable to be skeptical that he can string together two good games in a row. We suspect that quarterback Russell Wilson will target his wide receivers more going forward as he shakes off the rust from a long absence. Everett will merely be a touchdown-dependent TE2 dart throw against Arizona.
