Frank Gore Wants To Keep Playing
5 years agoBuffalo Bills running back Frank Gore, who will be a free agent in March, wants to continue his playing career at 36 years old, and he wouldn't mind returning to the Miami Dolphins. Gore, a surefire future Hall of Famer, averaged just 3.6 yards per carry on 166 totes for Buffalo in 16 games (eight starts) last season. He began the year as the team's starter in the backfield but eventually became rookie Devin Singletary's backup. “I want to play,” Gore said. “I feel I showed people I can play when I got my opportunities. Just seeing if a team wants me.” There's little left in the tank for Gore, but he ranks third on the all-time rushing list behind Emmitt Smith and Walter Payton. If Gore is signed by another team, it'd likely just be in a backup role, which would severely limit his fantasy appeal.
