Pittsburgh Pirates catcher Francisco Cervelli left Tuesday's game against the Chicago White Sox after being hit by a pitch on the left forearm. He stayed in to run the bases but was replaced by Elias Diaz in the bottom of the inning. For right now, the Pirates are calling this injury "left forearm discomfort," but he'll presumably get X-rays to determine the extent of the damage. Cervelli has been one of the early surprises of the 2018 season, hitting .302/.415/.566 with six home runs and 24 RBI in 130 plate appearances and emerging as a top waiver wire add at a weak position.--Matt Wilkes
