Pittsburgh Pirates catcher Francisco Cervelli had another big game on Friday night, going 3-for-4 with a run scored. It was his second three-hit effort in his last three games, and his slash line now sits at .306/.400/.542. In addition to lowering his strikeout rate (16.5 percent vs. 21.4 percent in 2017), Cervelli's hard-contact rate (35.6 percent) outpaces his career mark (29.6 percent) by a significant margin, and his three home runs put him more than halfway toward his 2017 total (five). Among all catchers, his 160 wRC+ trails only Yasmani Grandal. At a weak position, Cervelli should be owned in all leagues right now.--Matt Wilkes
