Minnesota Twins right-hander Fernando Romero turned in the worst start of his young career against the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday. Romero allowed four runs (three earned) on three hits and two walks in five innings of work. Despite the mediocre start, Romero has still been solid in his rookie season, posting a 2-0 record, 1.66 ERA, and 22 strikeouts in 21 1/3 innings pitched. He is still walking too many batters (4.57 per nine innings) but he should remain a decent source of strikeouts in AL-only and deeper mixed formats. He is scheduled to take on the Seattle Mariners in his next start.--Matt T - RotoBaller
