Falcons Trade For Hayden Hurst
5 years agoThe Atlanta Falcons acquired tight end Hayden Hurst and a 2020 fourth-round pick from the Baltimore Ravens on Monday in exchange for a 2020 second-round and fifth-round pick, according to sources. Hurst was behind both Mark Andrews and Nick Boyle in Baltimore, but he still managed 30 receptions for 349 yards and two touchdowns in 2019 in the Ravens high-flying offense. A former first-round pick in 2018, the 26-year-old will definitely have TE1 upside with the move to Atlanta, where he'll replace Austin Hooper, who was signed by Cleveland on Monday. Hurst will be a solid lower-priced breakout candidate at the position once the bigger names are off the board.
