San Jose Sharks defenseman Erik Karlsson continued his dominant start to the season Thursday, potting a goal and adding three assists against the Detroit Red Wings. Not only has Karlsson turned back the clock, he has gone a step further this season, with an astounding 28 points in 19 games played, first among NHL d-men. He has managed to work this magic on an abysmal Sharks team, and if he keeps it up the Sharks may look into trading the 32-year-old and his massive contract. That could be a boon for Karlsson and his fantasy owners, as he would play with better teammates hypothetically. If you believed in the oft-injured pointman coming into the year, kudos to you, as he is looking like a league winner right now. --Matt Garon - RotoBaller
