Erik Jones is another driver enjoying a far less than ideal 2023. Jones and his Legacy Motor Club car have been disappointing. Saturday's qualifying did not help as the No. 43 Chevy was more than a second off from former teammate Denny Hamlin. That put Jones in 28th. To be fair, Jones has started in the 20's in terms of average position the past three outings at Sonoma. He did manage an 11th and 22nd in terms of results (2021 and 2022). Jones is 30th in the standings now and needs results. He has as many top-ten's as DNF's this season to boot (two).--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
