Argentinian golfer Emiliano Grillo has had a rough time stringing together birdies, and that may bode poorly for him at La Quinta this weekend. Grillo has missed the cut at the last three tournaments he has entered. That included last week at the Sony Open, where the Argentine shot a 69-68, which was not good enough to see the weekend. He only played eight tournaments on the PGA Tour last year and did show some flashes with his shot-making and with a respectable 69.8 scoring average. Grillo did not finish in the top 10 in any tournament, but a nice start could go a long way towards him seeing Saturday and Sunday.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
