Emeka Egbuka has WR2 Upside for Week 14
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Emeka Egbuka has been held in check over the last few weeks. Egbuka posted some stellar performances early in the season, but has been unable to find that same magic. The rookie wideout has been held to 42 receiving yards or fewer in each of his last three games. It's also worth noting that quarterback Baker Mayfield (shoulder) is banged up with an AC joint sprain in his left (non-throwing) shoulder. As a result, the Tampa Bay passing game has been lackluster, with Mayfield being held to under 200 passing yards during the last three weeks. Egbuka has shown flashes of elite potential, but he's unlikely to replicate the same success given the current circumstances. In addition, with Chris Godwin Jr. back in action following his fibula injury, Egbuka will see his upside limited as Godwin figures to see his target share continue to increase. Despite this, the high ceiling he showed earlier in the season should keep him in the WR2 conversation for the upcoming Week 14 matchup against the New Orleans Saints.
