Elly De La Cruz to go On Bereavement List After Wednesday's Game
Elly De La Cruz will be placed on the bereavement list following Wednesday's game against the division-rival Milwaukee Brewers following his sister's death over the weekend. De La Cruz will miss at least several days as he mourns the loss of his sibling, so it remains to be seen if he'll play at all during this weekend's series against the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks that starts on Friday. The 23-year-old can do just about everything and then some on a baseball field and is a must-start anytime he's in the starting lineup for Cincy, but fantasy managers are going to be without him for a bit later this week/weekend. De La Cruz enters Monday's series opener against Milwaukee with a .258/.331/.455 slash line, 12 home runs, 42 RBI, 45 runs and 17 steals in a league-high 60 games played.
