Elijah Mitchell Listed As Day-To-Day
Elijah Mitchell (shoulder) is listed as day-to-day, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan. Mitchell injured his shoulder in the Week 2 win over the Philadelphia Eagles, but he was able to return to the game. With Raheem Mostert out for the season, Mitchell operated as the lead back on Sunday, carrying the ball a team-high 17 times for 42 rushing yards. He also caught both of his targets for 11 additional yards. JaMycal Hasty is out multiple weeks with a high ankle sprain, and fellow rookie Trey Sermon is in the concussion protocol, so Mitchell could see another healthy workload in Week 3 against the Green Bay Packers if he's able to play. Trenton Cannon is currently the only healthy back on San Fran's roster.
