Eagles Likely To Target Defense In First Round
2 years agoIf the Philadelphia Eagles keep both of their first-round picks (Nos. 10 and 30) in this year's NFL draft, there's a good chance they target defense. Safety and linebacker are the most glaring needs after they lost two starters at each position in free agency. However, they are more likely to use their first-round picks on positions they place higher value on at defensive line and cornerback. It's also not hard to picture general manager Howie Roseman using the No. 30 overall pick at the end of the first round to move up higher in the first round or to flip it for more picks later in the draft.
