Dylan Crews has Three Hits, Steals Two Bases in Loss
Dylan Crews had a nice performance in the team's 4-1 loss to the visiting Tampa Bay Rays on Friday night, going 3-for-4 at the plate with two stolen bases out of the eight-hole in the batting order. It was Crews' first game of the year with multiple stolen bases, and he's now 14-for-17 on stolen-base attempts in 2025. Overall, though, it has been a rather disappointing season for the 23-year-old former second overall pick in 2023. Crews has played in only 59 games this season due to an oblique strain that cost him extended time. And since he returned from that injury in the middle of August, he's hit .229/.327/.333 with no homers, four RBI and nine runs scored. Crews is barely above the Mendoza Line in his first full MLB season, but fantasy managers have to hope his big game on Friday can help him finish strong in September.
